Source/Target Edit Fields

Edit fields can come to small, not sized correctly to the (same) size of the add-on window.

Free Access to DeepL

The free API access to DeepL now can be used with version 5.3 .

Enabling:

1. you need a  "DeepL API free" API key

2.  in the "Configuration" dialog enter the API key

3  enable/check the option
              "It is a 'DeepL API free' key".

Additional toolbar button to enable/disable DeepL as the active machine translator.

DeepL Access Error

The HTTP security protocol required for use was changed, making the DeepL MT service inaccessible.

 

Error message: "HTTP client could not be created. Please try again a translation

request. Error connecting to the DeepL MT service".

 

Version 5.2 has been updated to use the new security protocol and access the DeepL MT as usual.

Access to DeepL Pro added,

The machine translation service from DeepL Pro can now be used with RC-WinTrans' Machine Translator.

Microsoft API access update.
The Microsoft API V3 is now used by the Machine Translator Add-On. The API V2 used previously was retired by Microsoft on April 30, 2019.

Improved handling/output for connection and access errors.
